Chickpea Patties

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • ½ cup chopped yellow peppers
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1kg cooked chickpeas
  • ½ cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. tahini
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh parsley
  • 4 tbsp. corn flour
  • 2 tbsp. potato starch

Step by step:

  1. In a food processor add all ingredients gradually. When you reach smooth consistency, add fresh parsley.
  2. Pre-heat oven to 200 °C
  3. Form patties in your desire size.
  4. Put silicon baking sheet on baking tray and place formed patties.
  5. Bake it for 10 minutes
  6. Heat up a pan and add 2 tbsp. oil. Fry patties until golden colour.
  7. Serve it in a bun or plate with potato puree and fresh salad.
