French vinaigrette 

Ingredients:

  • 2 shallots (only the white part)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar or 1 tbsp aplle cider vinegar
  • 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp agave syrup
  • Himalayan salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Step by step:

  1. Finely dice the shallot and mince the garlic.
  2. Place into a small container with a tight fitting lid.
  3. Add the olive olive, red wine vinegar, dijon mustard and agave syrup. Add a bit of salt and pepper put on the lid and give it a good shake.
  4. Taste for seasoning and add more to your liking.

Note: You can use this dressing for cooked or grilled asparagus.
