French vinaigrette
Ingredients:
- 2 shallots (only the white part)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar or 1 tbsp aplle cider vinegar
- 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp agave syrup
- Himalayan salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Step by step:
- Finely dice the shallot and mince the garlic.
- Place into a small container with a tight fitting lid.
- Add the olive olive, red wine vinegar, dijon mustard and agave syrup. Add a bit of salt and pepper put on the lid and give it a good shake.
- Taste for seasoning and add more to your liking.
Note: You can use this dressing for cooked or grilled asparagus.
