Banana – DIY Nutella snack 

My home nutella is not as creamy as the one from the shop, because it has tiny pieces of nuts in it. Instead is very chocolate and healthy 🙂

Serves: smal jar of nutella (110 ml) + 3 big bananas

ime: 30 min for soaking dates + 5 minutes for mixing all in gredients in a food processor.
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

1 banana
10 dates
4 cubes of chocolate – I used 70% dark chocolate
8 tbsp. hot water
Around 40 grams hazelnuts – grind in the food processor
1 tbsp. agave syrup or other sweetener

Step by step:

  1. Place dates and chocolate in a small bowl and cover with hot water. Put a small plate on the bowl and let it soak for 30 minutes or more.
  2.  After that, put the soaked dates with chocolate into a small food processor and mix until you reach smooth and thick chocolate sauce. You can make it with a hand blender as well.
  3. Add grind hazelnuts and agave syrup and mix it with a tablespoon.
  4. Put the nutella into a small jar and keep in the fridge.
  5. Cut the banana into thick slices and put some nutella on one slice and cover it with another slice (making a banana – chocolate sandwich). You can add slice of strawberry to it as it pairs very well with chocolate and banana 🙂
