3 Energy Boost Breakfasts

Wake up green smoothie

Serves: 1+

Ingredients:

  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 banana
  • 2 apples
  • Handful amount of parsley
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • Around 250 ml still water

Optional:

For extra sweetness add: raisins, pitted dates, or agave syrup
Fruits for smoothie bowl: banana, any kind of berries, hemp seeds

Step by step:

In a blender place all ingredients, add water and blend until smooth.

Note:

Add water gradually as you blend. Too much of water will make it taste watery. You can replace water by coconut water of fresh juice.

Multivitamin juice

Serves: 1+

Ingredients:

  • 3 carrots
  • 1-2 apples
  • ½ – 1 orange

Step by step:

  1. To prepare the juice, wash all of the ingredients. Remove the stems from the apples. Peel orange. Peel carrots and cut the ends off.
  2. If the ingredients will fit through your juicer whole, then there is no need to cut them up. If not, then cut just small enough so that they fit.
  3. Put all of the ingredients through a juicer. Serve immediately.

Superfood bowl breakfast

Serves: 1+

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. hemp seeds
  • 3 tbsp. buckwheat flakes
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp. raisins
  • 1 tbsp. goji berries
  • 1 tbsp. chokeberries
  • 3 cacao nibs (peeled and smashed)
  • ½ banana or ½ apple
  • carob powder or 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • Rice milk (any plant passed milk of your choice)
  • Agave syrup (to your liking)

Step by step:

  1. In a breakfast bowl place all ingredients except for fresh fruits, cover with rice milk and soak it for min 20 min or overnight in the fridge.
  2. Add a bit rice milk just before serving (adjust it to your liking)
  3. Warm it up or eat it cold.
  4. Add fresh fruits just before serving and pour some agave syrup on the top.
