I like to eat smoothie made from 80% fruits and 20% veggies or drink simple carrot – apple juice for breakfast. I decided that I want to increase the ratio of the vegetables. I had few trials but was never happy with the results. Today I made „eat your veggies juice”. Although I was not sure of the beetroot – celery combination I liked it. This juice is high in calcium, which is good for your bones.
Serves: about 300 ml
PREP time: 15 min
2 handful amount of kale
2 small beetroot
2 celery sticks
1 tbsp flaxseed oil
200 ml filtered water
Step by step:
- Wash all the vegetables and fruits. Peel betroot. Cut beetroot and celery sticks into smaller pieces. Remove skin from orange and lemon.
- Run all ingredients trhough a juicer and add flaxseed oil directly to your glass.
- If you do not have a juicer but have a blender. You can blend oll ingredients until smooth, then pour into a plastic sieve set over a jug or bowl.
