My home nutella is not as creamy as the one from the shop, because it has tiny pieces of nuts in it. Instead is very chocolate and healthy 🙂
Serves: smal jar of nutella (110 ml) + 3 big bananas
PREP time: 30 min for soaking dates + 5 minutes for mixing all in gredients in a food processor. Difficulty: easy
4 cubes of chocolate – I used 70% dark chocolate
8 tbsp. hot water
Around 40 grams hazelnuts – grind in the food processor
1 tbsp. agave syrup or other sweetener
Step by step:
Place dates and chocolate in a small bowl and cover with hot water. Put a small plate on the bowl and let it soak for 30 minutes or more.
After that, put the soaked dates with chocolate into a small food processor and mix until you reach smooth and thick chocolate sauce. You can make it with a hand blender as well.
Add grind hazelnuts and agave syrup and mix it with a tablespoon.
Put the nutella into a small jar and keep in the fridge.
Cut the banana into thick slices and put some nutella on one slice and cover it with another slice (making a banana – chocolate sandwich). You can add slice of strawberry to it as it pairs very well with chocolate and banana 🙂
